Sri. Alex Kuriakose. V.J.joined St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam as an Assistant Professor in 2013. He did his Plus Two from St. Philomina’s H.S.S, Koonammavu, Ernakulam and obtained his Degree in Chemistry (2004) from St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. He pursued Master’s Degree in Chemistry (2009) from St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. After his post-graduation he joined Merchem India Pvt Ltd, Ernakulam as Quality Analyst and worked there from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, he joined Indian Rare Earths Ltd. Research Centre, Kollam (A Govt. of India Undertaking – Dept. of Atomic Energy) as Junior Research Fellow of the R&D project “Process Development for the production of Nano Titania from Ilmenite by Sulphuric acid route”. After a year’s stint there, he joined MILMA, Ernakulam diary as Quality Analyst. He qualified CSIR UGC Test for JRF and Eligibility for Lectureship in December 2011. He began his research at CSIR Lab-NIIST (National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology), Trivandrum, as Junior Research Fellow and worked on “Synthesis of metal nanoparticles (Silver and Gold) by chemical reduction method using biomolecules” under the guidance of Dr.K.Yoosaf. In 2016 he registered as a part time research scholar at Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam under the guidance of Dr. M.A. Solomon.
