Dr. Anjana R., Joined as an assistant professor in the Department of Physics, St. Albert’s College in 2021. She secured her Ph. D. from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2019. She has obtained teaching experience by working as guest faculty in St. Joseph’s College Devagiri, Calicut, and Providence Women’s College, Calicut. She joined as CSIR Research Associate in the Department of Physics, Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2021 before joining St. Albert’s College.

Her broad research interest is in nanophotonics, especially luminescent and plasmonic nanoparticles. She is also interested in the synthesis of nanoparticles with novel properties, rare-earth doped materials, biomedical applications of nanoparticles, and the study of local structure using X-ray absorption spectroscopy.
