Sri. Joseph Prince D. joined St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam as an Assistant Professor in 2015. He completed his Plus Two from St. Sebastian’s Higher Secondary School, Palluruthy in 2005 and obtained his Degree in Chemistry in 2008 from St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. He passed his Masters Degree in 2010 in Chemistry from St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. He began his teaching profession in various entrance coaching centres in Kerala and has 5 years of teaching experience, before joining the St. Albert’s college. In 2014, he was qualified National Eligibility Test. He is pursuing his Ph. D. from M. G. University, Kottayam, under the Guidance of Dr. M. A. Solomon & Dr. Rajesh K. His research topic is Hydroarylation of Olefins by Platinum complexes. In his work, he is trying to understand the structural, reactivity and mechanistic aspects of hydroarylation reactions catalyzed by Pt (II) complexes and to find out highly efficient catalytic systems for the regioselective hydroarylation of alkenes. In 2019, he completed Orientation Program conducted by the UGC- Human Resource Development Centre, University of Calicut. In 2020, he completed the interdisciplinary Online Refresher course in Teacher Educators: Learning Outcomes and Educational Reform- Pedagogy, Assessment and Quality Assurance organized by UGC- HRDC- Kannur University. Currently he is member of Admission Committee, Printing and Publishing Committee and Examination Coordination Committee St. Albert’s College.
