Dr. Liz Mary Antony joined St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam in 2021. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies from St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. After completing B.ed, she has worked for five years as HSST. Her passion for research led her to join as a PhD Research Scholar in The Department of English and Centre for Research, St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous) in 2015. She defended her doctoral thesis at Mahatma Gandhi University in 2021. Her doctoral thesis is a study on Ecofeminist readings that reflect the oppression and exploitation of women and nature that are bound with the notions of difference between the cultural background of the East and the West. She has qualified UGC NET and has also published many research articles on reputed National and International Journals. She has previously worked with Bharatamata College, Thrikkakara and St. Teresa’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam. Her areas of interest includes Ecofeminism, Gender Studies and Poetry. She is currently the Assistant Controller of Examinations and Assistant Coordinator, Office of Dean: Training and Development.
