Ms. Maria Neethu K F, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam has a teaching experience of 9 years. She has completed her undergraduate studies from SSUS Kalady and went on to do her Master’s in Psychology from the same. She completed master’s diploma in Counseling Psychology from School of Behavioural Sciences MG university  Kottayam and achieved her MPhil degree in Psychology from Sree Shankaracharya University of Sanskrit Kalady. She was a  rank holder for both M.A and MPhil degree programmes. She has specialized in clinical psychology and counseling psychology and served as the Head of the Department of Psychology, Mar Dionysius College, Pazhanji  during 2019 August to May 2022. She also served as Head of Department of Psychology in Nucleus college of Arts and Sciences Pattambi for the academic year 2016 – 2017. She has worked as guest lecturer in Psychology from 2011 to 2015 at school of Behavioural Sciences , MG University Kottayam. She has presented many research papers in National and International seminars. She is a motivational speaker for adolescents and was the resource person in a webinar on Depression among adolescents at ASPIRE college (a programme in collaboration with women cell) in December 2021. She also conducted career counseling for higher secondary school students at Govt.HSS Vaniyambalam on March 2021. She is an enthusiastic and focused teacher committed to safeguarding and promoting the academic acumen of her students as well as reinforcing their self-esteem and intuitive thinking. She provides a rich and varied education for all her students by facilitating and encouraging innovative learning experiences.
