Mary Nefla joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics at St. Albert’s College(Autonomous), Ernakulam in August, 2021. She completed her Commerce graduation specialized in taxation and Post Graduation in Finance (M.Com) from St. Albert’s College. She qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) in Commerce conducted by UGC in the first appearance itself while pursuing her PG in 2012. She immediately started her teaching career at Vidyabharati Group of Institutions, Kalamassery as lecturer in Commerce department. There she handled Accounting papers for the students of MBA and PG Diploma in Logistics. After a year at Vidyabharati, she joined SNGIST Group of Institutions, N. Paravur as Assistant Professor in Commerce department. During her spell at SNGIST, she bagged the certificate of merit for teaching excellence. In 2016 December, she joined St. Albert’s College as Assistant Professor in Commerce department and continued till 2017 July.

In addition to her M. Com Degree, she also procured an Advanced Diploma in Corporate Communication and Documentation, a career oriented programme sponsored by UGC and a certificate of training in Computerised Professional Accounting conducted by SIMS. She has presented a paper in the UGC sponsored National Seminar on ‘Recent Challenges in Indian Banking Sector’ organised by SNM College, Maliankara. She has attended many Faculty Development Programmes, workshops, panel discussions, summits and seminars on Research Methodology, Data Analysis with SPSS, Entrepreneurship and Financial Management. She is looking forward to develop and implement career enhancement programmes and activities in order to contribute towards the overall growth of the students, the department and the institution.
