Dr. Neena George joined as Government Guest in the Department of Chemistry, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), Ernakulam in the year 2022. She took her PhD in the year 2018 under the Faculty of Sciences in the topic, “Chemical Recycling of PET Bottle Waste to Terephthalic Dihydrazide and its Application as a Versatile Polymer Additive” from Cochin University of Science and Technology. During her research, she bagged many awards for her exemplary work. She completed her postgraduation in ‘Inorganic Chemistry’ from School of Chemical Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. She has also qualified UGC NET/JRF in the year 2010. Her interested subject areas include Co-ordination Chemistry, Organometallics, Polymer Chemistry, Spectroscopy, etc. The teaching profession has always mesmerized her since childhood and to become a teacher was her passion. She procured a B.Ed. degree after her post-graduation to prune her teaching skills. She is also a placement co-ordinator of St. Albert’s college. Her vision is to encourage free thinking and inculcate research culture in science students.
