Dr.Neeraja James is Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, St. Albert’s College (Autonomous) Ernakulam.She is an accomplished educator with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate, and direct students while maintaining high interest and achievement and also an articulate communicator to effectively interact with diverse populations of students at a variety of academic levels. She has more than 8 years of teaching and research experience. She has secured UGC -NET JRF award in 2011 and upgraded to SRF.Dr. Neeraja James has published 12 research papers in various national and international journals .She has also chaired /attended / presented many research papers in National / International seminars and workshops .She is a life member of Indian Association for Women’s Studies and Kerala Economic Association. She also worked as teaching assistant in the Department of Applied Economics, CUSAT in connection with her UGC-Senior Research Fellowship. Dr. Neeraja James has also secured 6 th and 9 th positions in Mahatma Gandhi University’s Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programme in Economics. She has been awarded with PhD Degree in Economics from the Cochin University of Science and Technology,under the guidance of Dr.Manoj P K, Department of Applied Economics.
