Nimila P. J completed her M. Phil in Life Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology in 2009. From 2010 to October 2014 she worked as Guest Lecturer in Department of Zoology, St. Albert’s College, Ernakulam. She was appointed as Assistant Professor in the College in October 2014. Her areas of interest include Biodiversity, Toxicology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. She is involved in teaching undergraduate Zoology classes. She has published four International papers and attended about 30 seminars, training programmes and workshops. Nimila is a member of the Zoological Society of Kerala and Kerala Science and Technology Society. She served as a jury for National Child Science Congress in the years 2017 and 2019. She also worked as a Field Expert for Biodiversity Board of Kerala for the Post flood Biodiversity assessment. She is also a part of the Citizen Scientist Programme of ICAR- CMFRI. She is presently doing her research in Nanotoxicology.
