Sivakumar G joined St. Albert’s College (Autonomous), as Assistant Professor onContract in the Research Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture in 2014. He completed his Post Graduation in Applied Fisheries and Aquaculture from St. Albert’s College and secured the third rank for the same in the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
His academic specialization includes Culture Techniques and Farm/Hatchery Management, Ornamental Fish Breeding Practices, Fish Processing and Quality Control, Knowledge of Craft and Gear Technology, Biology of Fishes, Aquaponics Construction and Technology. He was the Field Assistant and Skilled Supporting Staff for various projects of the Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute, Kochi. He has undergone training on HACCP, Fish Post Harvest Technology, Freshwater Aquaculture, Seafood Processing and Aquaponics Training from various prestigious institutions like National Institute of Fisheries Post Harvest Technology And Training (NIFPHATT), Rosen Fisheries, The University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA and the like.
